HP ENVY 100 Driver Download. Straight out of the latest range of HP printers, the HP ENVY 100 e-All-in-One is designed for individuals. This multifunction inkjet prints, copies and scans. Like the other models in the range, it is connected to the Web and has the e-print function. The multifunction has its own email address and prints any document sent from any device connected to the web. In addition, a series of applications can launch coloring prints, calendars, partitions, games, on the model of connected printers. Its 128 MB of memory is more than enough for home use. Side pace, it ranks among the most singular. Indeed, its ultra-flat appearance, its metal frame and its glass cover are more like a VCR than a printer. On power up, its 8.9 cm color touch screen tilts, the input tray opens and closes automatically, as does the expansion of the paper output bracket. If these small motorized fantasies give it a futuristic side and gadget to the James Bond, they do not really optimize the execution time. Equipped with the double-sided function, it also has Wi-Fi n and a memory card reader. In terms of cartridges, there are two: one for black and one for color.

This HP ENVY 100 e-All-in-One is slower than other models in the range. 7 pages per minute (ppm) for color vs. 12 ppm for HP Photosmart With Wireless (B110) or C310 for example. Or 10 ppm for black and white, against 15 ppm for B110 and 12 ppm for C310. In double-sided, it's the drama! As often, flow rates fall by half and I reach 4 ppm. Not surprisingly, the printing time for an A4 photo and 10 X 15 cm are also slow. Again, the two models cited, which are not war thunderbolts, are faster. For comparison, the Canon Pixma MG5250 will be 2 to 3 times faster with 66 seconds for A4 and 32 seconds for 10 x 15 cm. The image quality deserves 4 stars. The outings in color are particularly sharp and well made. Black-and-white output, on the other hand, has streak effects that affect readability, especially on the graph and on the printing of my desktop test photo. I have found a way to overcome the low gray level by customizing the settings: choose the "high quality" gray level to get a better rendering. In photo, same observation: if the color is correct (4 stars), black and white, it deserves a small 3 stars.

On the whole I observe a dominant green and a lack of sharpness perceptible especially at the contours of the faces. The native definition of the scanner is 1200 dpi. Allow 11 seconds to scan a 300 dpi document. It's fast. During scans, the quality is always altered. Here the rendering is good enough, although the outlines of the scanned image are less clear and the colors less vivid than the original. The average deviation of scanner drift is 7.2%, which is quite high. HP ENVY 100 e-All-in-One copies run in 13 seconds for black and white - rather fast time - and 27 seconds for color - rather slow time. The quality is just passable (3 stars). For pure text, it will be fine, but on my test chart, the readability of the text is altered. Yet certified ENERGY STAR ®, this small Envy 100 is energy-consuming: 5.3 watts in standby and 13.6 W in work is too much. Described as silent by the manufacturer, it is also under my tests: 52 dB (A) measured.

The good news is its low cost page for inkjet. To put it, it is comparable to that of the Canon Pixma MG5250 already mentioned in the heading "debit", but still higher than the Epson Stylus Office BX625FWD (8.1 cents) or the unbeatable Kodak ESP7250 ( 6.6 cents). Nevertheless it remains in the low average costs on the page. The bad news is the only color cartridge. It must therefore be completely replaced as soon as a basic color runs out. Starting the HP ENVY 100 e-All-in-One printer from the power off mode is not the fastest. If it was not uncommon for older generations to wait a minute to print the first page. The average is now 30 seconds. In the wakeful output, the Envy 100 drops to 21 seconds and even 16 seconds hot and it's ok. The HP ENVY 100 e-All-in-One is typically the crush purchase on the looks and uniqueness of a multifunction that does not look like a printer. Elegant, discreet and silent, it will find its place anywhere. Richly equipped, it seduces with its versatility, its touch screen and its functions connected to the Web. However, it also has its limits, especially in terms of debits.
